Harmonix today released new details for Dance Central 3's newly revealed Story mode, but I'm sure the majority of you care about what songs you can bump and grind to when it releases later this year.
For that, I will first give you the nine new tracks you can shake your booty to. With more than 40 tracks on disc, the nine tracks today represent only a small portion of the songs in Dance Central 3. Below are nine more songs, each with authentic dance routines created by professional choreographers:
Now onto Story mode where you will travel back in time to learn classic dance moves alongside your favorite crews and characters. Playable solo or cooperatively, you will join the ranks of Dance Central Intelligence to uncover a dastardly plot to destroy Dance Central. For some reason, in order to destroy Dr. Tan, you must learn the iconic dance moves from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. How learning dance moves from the past can possibly put an end to Dr. Tan's villainy is beyond me, but I suppose it gives you purpose to dance to Disco Inferno.
In addition to all this great info, Harmonix also revealed that dance crew Riptide’s Bodie and Emilia have been drafted by Dance Central Intelligence to take down Dr. Tan and his army! There are a ton of new crews and characters in Dance Central 3 and to help you learn more about all of the new looks, era-specific venues, and characters, Harmonix has released the third Dance Central 3 developer diary.
