Make It So: Farsight Studios Launches KickStarter For Star Trek: TNG Pinball Table

A couple of months back, Farsight Studios, the creators of the hit downloadable game The Pinball Arcade, launched a successful KickStarter campaign that brought the classic The Twilight Zone table to digital form, with its release scheduled for later this year.  Now, they're "engaging" once more with an all new KickStarter, this time for one of the better licensed tables on the market.

Produced by Williams in 1993, Star Trek: The Next Generation features familiar music and voice samples from the classic TV show, including plenty of Picard for you ladies that couldn't get enough of them.  Farsight is gunning to raise the money for the licensing fees to get the table made into The Pinball Arcade, making it available for a number of platforms, including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS Vita and mobile devices, among others.

The goal they're shooting for is $45,000, and so far, they're over $18,000, with around 20-something days to go.  So, with enough Trekkies (and pinball enthusiasts) backing the game, Farsight should have no problem in "making it so".

As with its previous KickStarter, Farsight is offering a number of awards for certain donaters, including a digital copy of the game upon its release, a special "pro" edition with additional perks, a signed copy of the previously released Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection, and even a pinball party for you and your friends, provided you pick the top tier award.  C'mon, you have that cash lying around, don't you?

Want to take part?  Simply head over to this offiical KickStarter link to donate and make Star Trek: The Next Generation happen.  Hey, who knows, if this is successful, they might just pursue The Addams Family table next.  Maybe.
